My Story
I was already an established lactation consultant when I had my baby. I thought I knew what to expect. But nothing prepares you for the NICU, the monitors, the uncertainty, the ache of not being able to follow your birth plan. Our feeding journey was hard. Even with all my training, I struggled. I pumped through tears. I questioned myself. I learned what it meant to feel vulnerable in a way I hadn’t before.
That experience changed me. It gave me a new level of empathy, not just clinical understanding, but emotional resonance. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, to crave reassurance, to need someone who sees you as more than a feeding chart.
That’s why I built The Pink Lactation Consultant. My practice is rooted in evidence based care, but it’s also shaped by lived experience. I meet families where they are. Whether they’re in the NICU, at home, or somewhere in between. I bring clarity, calm, and a little humor to every consult, because feeding your baby should feel doable, not defeating.
Let’s make feeding feel less like a battle and a lot more human.
